Thank you for your interest in being a contributor to the LawMaxTraining.com blog. We publish relevant content for our readers on a regular basis. Please review all of our guidelines before submitting your content. If you have questions, please contact us immediately.
Quality Requirements
Original Content
Articles MUST be your original, unique content and NOT be published elsewhere. LawMax Marketing does not charge for publication or pay guest bloggers for submissions.
We believe in leveraging your time and efforts, so please feel free to REPURPOSE your other articles/blog posts as long as AT LEAST 30% of the content is fresh. Also, it is best to speak directly to our audience.
Target Market
Attorneys who are solo-practitioners and/or members/partners of boutique law firms are our primary target market. These attorneys are managing their firms and all aspects of running the business, or at least they should be handling these activities. Many are overwhelmed. They need specific instructions about how to effective reach their target market (sometimes even identifying their market), implementing specific marketing tactics and strategies, and understanding what is working for them.
Formatting Preferences
Formatting is an important component of blogging – helping both the search engines and our readers to enjoy and understand your published content. Please include the following formatting when you submit your content:
- Use subheadings in the post body (please include H2-H3 tags)
- Keep your blog post to around 300-500 words unless otherwise negotiated.
- Using short paragraphs or bullet points (to make the post easier to read)

We accept articles from contributors on the following topics:
- Business Success
- Practice Management Tips

If you feel your subject matter is of interest to our audience and is not listed above, please contact us to discuss.
Link Requirements and Policies
The content of the article may have one link to your own site and an optional link to a research resource or reference. Of course, please include links to other content on this blog/website. You may only include direct links. Affiliate links are strictly prohibited.
Post Image Requirements
Please include a bio photo link with your article submission. If you have a graphic or photograph fitting the content of your article please include that as well. ALWAYS include photo courtesy notes if the graphic/photography submitted is not your original work and confirm permission for use. Photos should be in jpg format and submitted as an image URL, if you do not contribute a photo, one will be selected for you at our discretion.
About the Author Credits
Contributors are given a byline (with your name and link to your website or social networking profile). If you become a regular contributor, you will be set up with your own credentials to include an “about the author” box of approximately 25 words and your headshot/image which will be hyperlinked to your website or social media profile.
Republishing Policies
Some blogs allow republishing of guest posts; we don’t. All content on this blog/website is owned by LawMax Marketing, is credited to the author and cannot be republished as-is anywhere else. This protects the author and the blog owner from duplicate content issues. Repurposing content requires at least a 30% revision of the material including the title.
Editorial Policies
Please don’t be offended if we suggest changes to your submitted content. We promise to only publish content on our blog that has been approved by both the contributor and the blog owner.
Now that you have a good idea what to include on your guest post guidelines policy, write one up! Don’t forget to make it easy to find on your blog, and give the link to anyone applying to be a guest poster.
